Description
The Downtown sits somewhere between a crewneck and a turtleneck. The ribbed mock neck stands up just enough to frame your face, and it gives a plain sweatshirt the kind of shape that looks put together without trying.
The finish is where it gets its edge. The hem is left raw instead of ribbed, so it falls straight and sits loose at the hip, and the cuffs are cut straight to match. Clean at the top, a little rough at the bottom.
It is made from a thick 350 GSM fabric that is 88% cotton, soft on the inside and heavy enough to hold the boxy shape. Dropped shoulders and a wide body give it room through the chest and arms, so it layers easily over a tee or a shirt.
Choose Khaki, Flower Gray, Black or Dark Gray. It is cut oversized, so take your usual size for the look shown. Wear it with wide-leg pants and a cap, or tuck the front into straight jeans for a sharper shape.
